Zustand: Fair. 3rd Impression. 320 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with decorations. Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Medium cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting, pages slightly loose. Pages have medium tanning and foxing throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Staining overall.

Softcover. Zustand: Very Good. This work is soft-bound in tan wrappers with black printing on the upper cover and spine. The covers show light soiling, and light edge-wear. The staple binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean with illustrations.

Zustand: Used - Good. Good hardback. Volume 2 only of 2. Scattered grubby spots to pages; front hinge split and repaired; binding secure. Green decorated cloth browned, most heavily on spine. Gilt lettering to spine, blue lettering and decoration to front board; black decoration to both spine and front board. Wear to cloth at extremities; corners a little bumped.
