Green textured cloth covered hard boards in original un-clipped dust jacket. SIGNED by Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham to the title page. Stirling Moss wrote the foreword to this book. Alf Francis was Moss' mechanic over several years including his 1954 Formula 1 Maserati and Moss' seasons with the Mercedes and Maserati works teams in 1955 and 1956 and most of this book covers their years working together. Francis subsequently worked as Brabham's mechanic at Rob Walker Racing in the early 1960's. An excellent account of 1950's motor racing. Very Good book which has spotting to edges, end papers and title page, otherwise clean inside. The jacket is in just about Fine condition, slight fade to the red ink on the spine.…
