This enchanting book includes their memorable dialogue about Paul. gradually, as the reader follows this journey and listens to their conversation, often argumentative, often very funny, always enlightening, the character of Paul emerges. Paul's story is illustrated by superb colour photographs of places he visited. The last illustration is a magnificent picture of Christ taken from the painting of the resurrection by Piero della Francesca. It sums up the significance of the whole book. This was the Risen Christ who appeared to Paul, of whom he could say, at the end of his life: 'I live, now not I, but Christ lives in me'. Illustrated. 159 pp. Previous owners name to inside cover. Couple of small waterstain marks to top edge of D/J.

Binding is solid, sturdy, without damage. Interior is bright and clean and free of marks, crisp and nearly appearing unopened. Covers have a teeny bit of wear at certain parts of the edges and corners, where the covers are lightly rubbed in those parts, but largely negligible overall. Superb copy.
