Rather than relying on a narrative driven by drama, Domènech focuses on quiet gestures of closeness, shared vulnerability and the body's ability to become a place of refuge in the face of external hostility. His photographs move between portraiture, landscape and detail, creating a visual narrative in which vulnerability becomes a powerful act of resistance.
