Legatura ottocentesca in mezza pelle marron, piatti in carta marmorizzata. Dorso liscio con titoli e fregi in oro. Esemplare ben conservato con solo un paio di strappetti marginali e lievi e quasi imprecettibili gore ad alcune carte. Bell'edizione che comprende le due opere apparse singolarmente nel secolo precedente. Cfr. Schlosser-Magnino 620-625.

Plena piel moderna con nervios, hierros en cantos, cortes dorados, estuche, 21x16 cm., 4 hojas (incluso portada y retrato grabado a toda plana de A. Capra), 366 pp., abundantes grabados intercalados (muchos a toda plana) y una lámina plegada fuera de paginación. Muy buen estado de conservación.

Il ricco apparato iconografico comprende oltre alle tavole le numerose illustrazioni lungo il testo, il ritratto dell'autore, bordure ed iniziali, tutto inciso in xilografia. Cfr. The treatise on civil architecture is divided into five parts corresponding to the five orders of architecture, but this is a purely symbolic arrangement, since Capra is not interested in the traditional norms and precepts of architectural theory focused on columns" (Millard).
