About the Book: - Abu Raiham Mahamed Ibn Ahmed Albe Alberuni, or his compatriots cassed him Abu Raiham was born in 973 in the feretory of modern Ichiva, then called Khwarizm. He received the honorary degree Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) from the University of Oxford in October 1902, in connection with the tercentenary of the Bodleian Library.
