The author of nine books, she is a regular contributor to Majesty magazine and was consultant on the Danish documentaries A Royal Family and The Royal Jewels. ; Senta Driver was a dancer, choreographer, and writer; she began studying dance in graduate school, and received her masters in dance from the Ohio State University in 1966. Following graduation, Driver joined the Paul Taylor Dance Company of New York City in 1967, which she danced with until 1973. In 1974, she founded her own dance company, HARRY, also based in New York City. Driver choreographed and danced with the company until 1991. At this time, she closed the company due to lack of funds, and trained as a neonatal ICU nurse. As of 2019, Driver is working on a book about her family's genealogical history. ; "In 1906 Queen Alexandra and her sister the Dowager Empress Marie Feodorovna of Russia purchased Hvidore, a villa on the Danish coast, a private home. Until 1914 the sisters visited the property every autumn, entertaining friends and many royal relatives in an informal atmosphere. It was indeed a royal retreat. The first world war put an end to those happy times but in 1919, no exiled from Russia, the Dowager Empress made the vila her home and Hvidore became a court in exile. Limited Edition. Octavo, [two volumes], xxii, [2], 410pp; xi, [3], 394pp. Purple cloth, title in gilt on spines. Top edge gilt, silver emblem stamped to front covers. Solid text blocks, sunning to spines, light wear to tips, shelf wear, faint wear to gutters, a very good set. Lacking dust jackets. Complete with 15 full page illustrations in Volume I, 25 in Volume II, some in color. Complete with 28 maps and plans in Volume I, 16 in Volume II, including large fold-out maps at rear of each volume. Stated copy 21 of 60. (Sutcliffe, 10) Signed on the foreword by Prince Albert as Colonel of the Regiment. Upon the abdication of King Edward VIII in 1936, Prince Albert would ascend to the British throne as King George VI. Signed.

From the autograph album of the novelist George Meredith's daughter Marie Eveleen (Mariette; 1871-1933), later the wife of Henry Parkman Sturgis (1847-1929), American-born banker and Liberal politician. Queen Victoria lent Claremont House to the Count of Paris's father Louis-Phillipe, after his abdication and flight from France. On one side of an 11 x 7.5 cm piece of grey paper. In good condition, lightly aged. Written in a neat hand, it reads: 'With the compliments of the Count de Paris and his thanks for the books send [sic] by Mr. Meredith. / Claremont 31/5/63'.

Three pages (of a bifolium), folio, yellowed and somewhat transparent, sl. crumpled, sellotape repairing split in second leaf, but text clear and complete. Text (secretarial handwriting) outlines at length the aim of recruiting highly qualified "Jurors" ("eminent men") for the French Exhibition of 1878, and going on to invite Vincent Robinson to act as "Juror" "for Class xxi (Carpets, Tapestry, etc.). See Image of pp.2 & 3, illustrating condition and signature. Note: "A. ROBINSON, VINCENT JOSEPH (1829-1910), connoisseur of oriental art, [] Robinson was director of the Indian section of the Paris Exhibition, 1889, and was made a knight of the Legion of Honour."; B.
