Mr. Abbey was long known as a friend of the Indian and was a keen student of the culture and history of the Six Nation Iroquois Confederacy. He was taken into the Seneca Hawk Clan on the Tonawanda Reservation, on September 3, 1939. Good. No dust jacket as issued. Cover has some wear and soiling. Cover and pages creased.
