Zustand: Good. Offering this tennis advertisement booklet, Playing the Backhand, or The Mental Hazard of the Backhand by George Agutter. Published by Armour and Company, 1947, to promote their natural gut strings. 10 pages, including covers, illustrated. Condition is good: the pages are intact, with the original staples, and there are no marks or writing; there is visible mild wrinkling and a tiny tear at spine head. Overall a nice, bright copy! George Agutter was head pro at the prestigious West Side Tennis Club, which helped Armour market their strings to the more elite coaches and players of the tennis community.
