However, the advertisements are paginated (ix-xxxii) and ours are not, suggesting a different impression instead perhaps.Published anonymously 'by the authors of "The Coming K___" and "The Siliad"'. Institutional copies link this work to Samuel Orchart Beeton, Aglen A. Dowty and Evelyn D. Jerrold. Beeton was an English publisher and the husband of Mrs. Beeton (Isabella Mary Beeton), whose Book of Household Management he published. He also founded and published the influential Boy's Own Magazine. Handsomely rebound in a later quarter cloth, with marbled boards. Bound in with the original wraps.
