Numbered on the bottom right: '4'.As from the Hollstein: "The horseman, the walkers, the pissing man and his horse are copied in reverse on a print (5,1 x 15,4 cm) with ee2 published by Claes Jansz. Visscher as part of a series: "Occupations of Man and Views in the surroundings of Amsterdam". This composition appears also in the form of a painting on the lid of a harpsichord, now at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam (in. SK-A-4288). The direction of the painted landscape is the same of Visscher's print, thus reversed in respect to Van de Velde's.
