A good copy, for its age, of the 2nd edition, 2nd printing of this children's adventure story from the early 20th century, The edition statement says that the story was first published as 'All Astray' in 1902 and reprinted as that in 1906. It was then reissued with the current title in 1918 and reprinted in 1919. No Dust Jacket (as issued?). Cover: blue cloth covered boards with blue/gilt images to front and spine, gilt lettering to front and dark blue lettering to front and spine; clean for its age but some overall, darkening, some fading to corners (particularly rear top fore-corner- and ring mark to rear; rubbing and bumping to all edges commensurate with age and use. Internally: relatively clean; Sunday School prize label dated 1924 to front paste-down, remains of a pasted label to front pre-title page; some yellowing to pages and finger marks; darkening to page edges; both hinges cracked but holding. 8 full page black and white illustrations including frontispiece which has two small tears to edges one of which goes into the image. 332 pp.
