Snugly bound in original ribbed, brick red cloth with decorative borders and titles in relief to the cover in black and boldly in black and red to the spine. Coated brown endleaves intact and very neat. Lavishly illustrated with hundreds of in-text woodcuts, many by higly regarded American illustrator, Arthur B. Frost; this is the first book illustrated by him. Mild crimping to cloth at spine ends and just mild rubbing to cloth at corner tips. Expected mild toning to page stock.
