Vintage publicity photograph from the 1945 film serial, showing actors Jan Wiley and Dennis Moore. Annotations in manuscript pencil on the verso. A group of Nazi spies kidnap a professor in order to acquire his creation: a machine capable of extracting gold from sea water. An FBI agent and a lady reporter seek to rescue the professor and unmask the leader of the Nazis, known only as "Master Key." From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches. Slight wear on the bottom edge, else about Near Fine.
