Full-page color frontispiece with three full-page color plates and black-and-white illustrations throughout. 166 pages. Owner's name in ink to front endpapers, dated 1910. Light rubbing and mild soil to boards, faint spotting to spine. Occasional soil to margins. Plates bright.

Tall slim 4to. 16 very attractive tipped-in coloured plates that look almost like originals, all have slight creasing to lower inside corner. Subjects include The Gipsy, Road Sweeper, Nuns, Salvation Army, Lord Mayor, Newsboy, Pavement Artist, Suffragettes, Waiter, Street Acrobat, etc. Black and white illustrations of dogs opposite each coloured plate. Pages foxed but plates clean. Hessian beige spine, illustrated paper covered boards, rubbed to edges and slightly soiled. Generally a sound copy.
