Zustand: very good. The Afghan marble quality, variety, color, and size of quarries paves the way for a great potential in the demand and supply chains of the Afghan marble in the domestic, regional, and international markets. Studies and researches so far conducted for this industry in Afghanistan, have not sufficiently analyzed the various factors involved in the entire process and therefore do not give a clear picture to the investors so that they dare to invest. This book analyzes the entire industry from quarry all the way down to the actual production and marketing of the marble products in Afghanistan and suggests to the investors innovative approaches that would increase the productivity and competitive position of the Afghan marble. The focus point of the analysis is ?competitiveness? It consists of a brief review of the relevant literature, the industry productivity in compare with the concerned neighboring countries; the marble market trend worldwide as well as in-country; and the analysis of the overall marble situation. The study draws conclusion along with recommendations for the relevant players on the ground. DR1. softcover, binding very good, pages clean, 99 pages.

He used to compose sermons for political occasions, and also for both secular and religious festivals. His major speeches were written from the beginning of 959 onwards; he often composed to exhort the population to support Sayf al-Dawla in the war against the Byzantines and his speeches aroused great enthusiasm. They contain references to contemporary events, for example the taking of Aleppo by the Byzantines in 962, the measures taken for the defense of Mayyafarikin, the arrival in that town of volunteers from Khurasan, the assassination of Nicephorus Phocas in 969, etc. Ibn Nubbata's sermons were collected and arranged together with some sermons by his son Abu Tahir Muhammad and by his grandson Abu-L-Faraj; collected circa 1223, they have been printed in various editions, of which one of the best known is the Beirut edition".
