In den WarenkorbAd hoc stitched 12mo booklet of 14 leaves, clearly put together for showing to a publisher. In fair condition, lightly aged and worn, with the photographs on two leaves cut away, leaving a total of twelve, all sepia. Photograph of Wordsworth (11 x 8 cm) presented as frontispiece, beneath which is written in pencil: 'The portrait… can be vignetted if desired'. Facing the frontispiece is the title-page, with small circular photograph (4.5cm in diameter) of the grave of William and Dorothy Wordsworth, which has been scored through. Beneath the other photographs (all 11 x 8 cm) are captions in manuscript with quotations from Wordsworth, with page nos 86, 129 (cut away), 149, 169, 218, 243, 290, 338, 457, 571. Four are original photographs taken from life (218, 'St. Joseph's Chapel. Glastonbury'; 290, river through forest; 338, tree in forest; 457, cottage with rustic figure at door), the others are photographs of engravings. Loosely inserted is a leaf carrying a 15 x 9 cm photograph of an engraving illustrative of Milton's 'L'Allegro'.
