In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. A very nice first edition (1958) of the fascinating analysis by various writers about the famous Versailles 'time slip', sometimes called the greatest ghost story of all time. Gibbons, Joan Evans, G W Lambert and C Harold Ridge are the heavyweight contributors. Pages are clean and bright with no inscriptions or foxing, just tanning on the front and rear end papers (see photos). All maps and illustrations including the fold-out are correct and in excellent condition. DJ is unclipped and intact: a previous owner has covered it in a form plastic tape-wrapper. This is not a removable covering, however neither is it attached to the book, only to the wrapper itself for protection. And the DJ itself is clearly in a very good state: a little browning and shelf wear, and a couple of red marks on the cover. Rare in this condition. All in all a very nice copy of one of the most interesting works on the famous Versailles time slip, and an essential addition to paranormal book collections. See all photos - we don't use stock photos, all pictures are of the actual copy for sale.…
