His book the Rg veda and Vedic Religion contains a good amount of critical material and therefore will be very much useful to the scholars interested in the study and research in Vedic lore. He has made critical analysis of the Vedic thoughts and has brought to light some interesting facts. The learned author has endeavoured to examine the material from historical perspective. The book was long out of print. We therefore thought of revising it and editing with necessary changes.
