Parisiis, (Paris), Apud Yolandam Bonhomme / viduam Thielmanni Kerver. In vico Sancti Jacobi, Ad signum Unicornis. Et in eodem vico apud Jacobu Kerver. Gothana Advocati & Joh. Fried. Breithaupt, on verso of title an old library stamp made illegible. Some contemporary or near contemporary annotations in the beginning of the book, last five lvs with some marginal browning, lower margin of one introductory leaf restored, nice crisp copy. Very well preserved early Parisian edition of the most remarkable law book that the world has seen. (Enc.Britt. 11th V.15/597). Although the book dates from 1538 (at the end is falsely written 1508), the typography is still based on the manuscript tradition; the glosses are neatly printed around a central text part.
