Er malte eine große Anzahl Porträts sowie vorwiegend lyrisch gehaltene Bildkompositionen (u.a. Orpheus und Eurydike, Frühlingsgrüße). Für das Bayerische Nationalmuseum in München malte Beyschlag ein großes Historienfresko (Ludwig der Kelheimer unterhandelt 1221 mit dem Sultan Kâmel über den Abzug der Kreuzfahrer).

Motiv: 52 x 40 cm; Blatt: 66 x 50,8 cm Blatt rrechts oben mit Knickfalte, 3 cm Einriss im oberen weissen Rand, Ränder unregelmäßig beschnitten, sonst gut Sprache: Deutsch 1001 gr.
