Encuadernacià n de tapa dura. Zustand: Muy bien. In-8. #1 August 1967 - #7 Set 1969. (Complete set). Bound in half green cloth marbled boards. Collaborators : Mariano Olivera, Rainer Astrada, Froilan Contreras, Luis German Haifer, Eduardo Antebes, Braulio Marin, Among others. Carlos Astrada began to gradually move away from the communist publishing houses, particularly with the most orthodox sectors, and carried out a project that had been pulsating in her being: her own magazine, which was born under the title of Kairà s. In this company he counted on the invaluable collaboration of his son Rainer and his old disciple Alfredo Llanos. In its title its content took its purpose: opportunity, occasion, imperative of the hour. This publication had few external contributions, because during his journey Astrada was retiring. However, under pseudonyms the magazine showed a varied participation in the philosophical debates of the moment, coming from the small but prolific circle that was around him. Especially in these publications developed the concept of "utopia" so in vogue in those years, under which Astrada tried to delineate the north that the people should follow to achieve their emancipation. Also, and in line with his old colleagues in Germany, from another point of the world, Astrada contributed with the flame that was ignited in the French May and was reflected in our country in the phenomenon of the Cordobazo. Astrada publishes an article called "Realism of Utopia." There he affirms that utopia is not a mere postulate for the imagination but has real roots that give it a tangentially possible concretion force. At this point he argues that "utopias are like species of lighthouses in the long sea of "historical reality" (Astrada, C. 1968, 2). Although the term utopia refers to a non-place, Astrada points out that the great works on this subject, which appeared in the Renaissance: mainly those of Moro, Bacon and Campanella have been inspired by the American lands, therefore, the existence or not of those places that the authors describe could be discussed. Astrada refers, as she had done in previous texts, to the metaphor of the snail, as it keeps the sound of the sea. In this aspect he points out that just as the snail preserves the sound of something that exists in reality, utopias have not arisen from a nothing but could be the echo of past eras. Tarcus p57. W8.

Navarro, Brandan Carafa, Alberto Hidalgo, Norah Lange, Ramon Gomez de la Serna, Macedonio fernandez, Pettoruti, Juan Filloy, Gerardo Diego, Among Others. Illustred bay Pettoruti, Barra , Lipchitz. It is so rare that Provenzano refers to this magazine saying ". in September 1926 the newspaper ClarÃn, a publication of" Literary Synthesis, "circulated in the city of Cà rdoba, some numbers appeared, we do not know how many, but in La Campana de Palo, May 1927, it is still mentioned and with these terms: "It is of a vanguardism too acute and crazy to be deeply sincere". Of brief but intense life, ClarÃn constitutes a privileged testimony of the modalities that assumed the aesthetic and literary avant-gardes in Cà rdoba in the decade of the '20. It expresses, in turn, a network of intellectual friendships fed by the reformist experience of '18 in opening, not necessarily peaceful, towards the territory of new art. Designed and directed by Carlos Astrada, with the accompaniment of Saúl Taborda and the usual collaboration of Emilio Petorutti -among several others- ClarÃn tried to connect the criticism and culture of the city with the deep, disordered and contradictory regeneration that affected the world of music. ideas and art in Europe. Forgetful, his initiative can be added to the chain of more or less failed attempts to remove the image of Cordoba from the one proposed by Sarmiento. Or it can illuminate with a different light a moment of local culture, marked by the tension assumed by the reformist legacy almost a decade after the event, and before the "call to order" of the 1930s. Washington Pereyra T2,p122.
