Some of the areas addressed in the book are standards based teaching, mastery planning, assessment of student work, differentiating instruction, brain based teaching, questioning techniques, lesson study, and parent communication and relationships.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Dr. Ribas is the author of three books for teachers and administrators. He has a Ph.D. from Boston College and has been an elementary and middle school teacher, a principal, an assistant superintendent and presently trains teachers and administrators in the area of effective instruction.

Dr. Deane has a Ph.D. from Boston College. She is a mathematics consulting teacher and trains teachers in effective instruction.

Mr. Seider is a Doctoral Candidate at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. He has been a high school teacher and is presently working as a high school administrator.
