Lim Chee Leong is an Associate Professor and Senior Director of Learning Innovation and Development at the Centre for Future Learning, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and has over 25 years of experience in higher education, with a strong focus on technology-enhanced learning and pedagogical innovation. Dr. Lim is a nationally recognized educator, having received the prestigious National Academic Award (Anugerah Akademik Negara) in 2014, the highest honor for academic excellence in Malaysia. His scholarly contributions include authoring and editing three Scopus-indexed research books with IGI Global and publishing in numerous peer-reviewed journals in the areas of instructional design, blended learning, and self-regulated learning strategies. Dr. Lim has also served as guest editor for special issues in Scopus-indexed journals and has presented extensively at international conferences. He has led major university-wide initiatives in learning innovation and has served on national education committees and international judging panels, solidifying his role as a thought leader in the transformation of higher education. His work continues to influence educational policy and practice at both national and regional levels, positioning him as a thought leader in 21st-century learning innovation.
Gary Cheng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology and the Director of the Centre for Learning, Teaching, and Technology (LTTC) at The Education University of Hong Kong. He holds a doctoral degree and has over two decades of experience in higher education, with a strong focus on technology-enhanced teaching and learning. His research interests span Artificial Intelligence in Education, Learning Analytics, e-Assessment, and Technology-enhanced Second Language Learning. He has published extensively in leading journals such as Computers & Education: Artificial Intelligence, The Internet and Higher Education, and Educational Technology & Society. Dr. Cheng also serves as Associate Editor at the open-access journals called Australasian Journal of Educational Technology, Computers & Education: X Reality, and Artificial Intelligence in Language Education. Recognized among the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists by Stanford University (2022, 2023, 2024), Dr. Cheng has led multiple funded research projects and received international awards for his innovative educational technologies.
