Inhaltsangabe
Juan de Mena, poeta del prerrenacimiento español, realizó el intento más serio de crear una lengua poética diferente de la vulgar y ha permanecido como referencia inexcusable de un tipo de poesía culta. Para ello recurre a un metro noble y rítmico -el arte mayor-, a creaciones léxicas de ascendencia clásica y a un profuso empleo de la retórica antigua. Su poema alegórico "Laberinto de Fortuna o Las Trescientas" es la mejor plasmación de esa lengua literaria buscada. Esta edición ofrece el texto de ms. 229 de la Biblioteca Nacional de París, una lectura rítmica de la obra y un apéndice de fuentes.
