Energetically inscribed and signed by the artist "for Deborah with thanks '92" with a passionate attack of black ink on the title page (leaving a deep impression on following pages). There are no other internal markings. There is some crimping to the top edge of the rear cover with some impressions left from someone's using the book as a surface on which to write a large lettered note. The pages are very slightly yellowed along the lower edge consistent with age, and there is a bit of shelfwear to the edges and associated faint rubbing to the covers. Else, the binding is tight, the corners sharp, the spine uncreased. Bound in stiff illustrated French fold paper covers and published on the occasion of the exhibition held from May 13-July 9, 1989 in New York, and subsequently in Chicago, Vienna, and The Hague.
