Yesim Bektas-Cetinkaya is an associate professor in the Department of Foreign Language Education at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey. She has an M.A. and a Ph.D. in foreign language education from Ohio State University (USA). Her research interests include intercultural communication, affective variables in foreign language education, teacher education and language literacy. She has published several articles in international journals, book chapters and books.
