The previous editions of this Workshop were hosted by the Weierstrass Institute in Berlin (2005), by INRIA Rocquencourt in Paris (2007), and by Swansea University (2010).

This book collects selected contributions from the participants at the IV Tetrahedron Workshop on Grid Generation for Numerical Computations, held in Italy on July 2013. The aim of this book is to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art as well as to present the most recent developments on mesh generation and adaptation, with an emphasis on applications to different fields of engineering and numerical simulation.
