Addressed out of frustration and desperation to the author Ernest Hemingway, The Last Fiesta is set in northern Spain in 1995. With the ETA conflict as its backdrop, the story traces the reunion and subsequent shared journey of four old school friends through the beautiful Basque country, up into the mountains of the Picos de Europa, then onto Pamplona for the running of the bulls. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Andy Rumbold was born in London. After graduating from Birmingham University, he decided to spend six months in northern Spain, but stayed for four and a half years. He is now back in England, teaching English and Spanish at a school in Surrey, and working on his second novel.
