Three Live Ghosts CHAPTER I THREE men paused by the wayside. One looked yellowish; another, a sickly green; the third, white as paper in spots, where the grime permitted a glimpse of his real hue. All were shaky. You can all go to ell, said the greenish little man, shaking a fist in the direction from whence they had come. Hymn of hate! said the yellowish man in a tone that had always been nonchalant. ear im! Mockingly. apless arry! You go to ell too! said the greenish man. Thank you, said the yellow ghost. Don ttry to shake your fist. Hold it up, and itll shake itself. And truly the other was shaking all over. The yellowish man gave a metallic laugh. apless arry, giving a hex ibition of ysterics! he scoffed, preempting the others
