This volume -the second in this series concerned with motivation and foreign language learning- includes papers presented in a state-of-the-art colloquium on second language motivation at the American Association for Applied Linguistics (Vancouver, 2000) and a number of specially commissioned studies. Zoltan Dornyei is Professor of Psycholinguistics at the School of English, University of Nottingham. He has published widely on various aspects of second language acquisition and language learning motivation including Motivation, Language Identity and the L2 Self (2009, edited with Ema Ushioda).
