An ex lending library copy with library labels on spine and upper panel, stamps in front endpapers, stamp on title page, label on copyright page, pencilled annotations on contents page and lending apparatus on rear endpapers. Cloth a little rubbed at spine ends. Corner loss (clipped away?) to front paste down. There's a bookplate on the half title page indicating the volume was presented to the Hove Library at Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music by Mrs Frank Tappan.
