Signed by Ramanlal Soni on the front endpaper: "Best regards from Ramanlal Soni." "Ramanlal Soni, Modasa Gujarat" written at the bottom of the front cover, no date. Ramanlal Pitambardas Soni, also known as Sudamo, was a children's writer, translator and social worker from Gujarat, India. He wrote original works as well as translated and adapted children's literature. He wrote stories, poems, rhymes, plays and biographies. He has received many of India's highest literary awards.
