First edition hard back binding in publisher's original black cloth covers, gilt title, author lettering and elaborate gilt vignette to the spine and the upper panel, illustrated end papers. 8vo. 9'' x 7''. Contains 133 printed pages of text with humorous monochrome illustrations throughout. Very light foxing to the end papers, spine very slightly faded, without any ownership markings, corners sharp, without any rubbing to the cloth boards and in Very Good clean and bright condition.
