Signed by the artist and with a small drawing of two figures walking, on the half title-page. Text in English and Norwegian. Elling Reitan is a pupil of Odd Nerdrum and Bjørn Sverrbo. His paintings resemble the expressionist color paintings of the 1980's. Illustrated in color throughout. Color plates on almost every page. 180 color plates.
