Sambamurty, Senior Reader, Department of Botany, Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, has been teaching Genetics and Taxonomy to B.Sc. (Gen.) and B.Sc. (Hons.) students for the past three decades. He did his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Andhra University, Waltair. He is a Fellow of the Genetic Society of India and the Botanical Society of India, besides being a member of several scientific bodies.
