Europe claims to have historically and traditionally developed a human rights culture, along with an adherence to liberalism. Several European scholars have attempted to contest, criticize, and challenge the fundamental rights and the system perpetuated to promote and protect them, with the sole aim of strengthening and reinforcing these rights.
