What role does Africa play in the war against terrorism? Recent increase in terrorist attacks and consequences of 9/11 on the United States and the world have shifted attention to America's war on terror including Afghanistan, Iraq and ISIS. Africa largely remains poor and underdeveloped making it a perfect breeding ground for terrorist groups. This has raised the question of whether the continent has the financial, political and legal means and will to combat this phenomenon.
