Bhubaneswar a coastal urban city is situated along the eastern part of peninsular India in the state of Odisha. It is a rapidly developing city in terms of eduction, economy and infrastructure. The city is well populated along with growing number of vehicular traffic. Various large scale and some small scale industries have developed around the outskirts of this city. So air pollution is a great concern now a days through vehicular, industrial as well as agricultural sources. So preliminary information is required for planning a survey. Mr.Sanak Ray is an Indian citizen with a B.Sc.Degree in Botany & has completed his M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Utkal University, Odisha,India. Presently he is a PhD scholar at IMMT(CSIR),Bhubaneswar.His recent work focus and research interest comprises of soil study along with GHG emission and waste water treatment by microbial technique.
