This book present results of research study carried out on the emerging Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Communication Systems and its impact on the global business performance and the society in general. The findings are that M2M Systems have great potential and wide areas of applications including in transportation, utilities, security, retail and healthcare. Nkumbwa obtained his MSc Engineering from Coventry University UK and a BEng in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from Copperbelt University. He finished his Secondary School from Serenje Boys Technical High School, now a Registered Engineer. He has taught at Copperbelt University, School of Engineering and now at University of Cape Town in SA.
