It followed a study of nutrition science, in USA. The dissertation study on immune response and Spirulina, the author published in her bestseller „Spirulina, das blaugrüne Wunder". She lived ten years in the US, then in southern Hesse. Currently, M. Meyer writes in Portugal. There, she occasionally works with maladjusted adolescents. A pioneering spirit and a great devotion to the welfare of the people inspire her.
