The Ultimate Scriptwriting Course is the syllabus of the L.A. workshop (running ten years now) that employs accelerated learning methods. It began as a prerequisite for actors wanting to learn "The other side" of a script, and was soon packed out the classroom doors. The course teaches how to "grow" a script from solid structure up, and binds all elements of scriptwriting together with the appropriate tension and conflict. The method has a an upbeat "party" feel, and the course syllabus has, indeed, been used as a theme party. Solid information in an entertaining setting.

As an L.A. native and Theatre Arts survivor-turned-instructor, I created this course to be enjoyed. So many people asked to use my workshop syllabus as a party game, I conceded and created this book-on-tape.
About the Author:
I've been writing for thirty-five years, but only have been taken seriously (paid) for the past twenty-five. Although I consider myself a playwright above all else (I've won two dozen awards and been produced across the U.S. and Western Europe), I've also written mystery stories, suspense, adventure and, of course, about a dozen instructional texts on various subjects. Right now I'm editing, teaching scriptwriting, and working on a suspense film with a strong female lead.
