Mudtown was a working-class neighbourhood tightly wedged between once busy docks, factories and the escarpment along the east shore of Owen Sound Bay, regularly inundated with mud during spring rains. Beyond Mudtown, Rob Rolfes third collection of poetry, is an imagined visit into past and present-day Mudtown, the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula and places beyond.
Biografía del autor:
Rob Rolfe is the author of The Hawk (Quattro Books, 2008) and Saugeen (Quattro Books, 2011). His poetry has also been published in Lyricalmyrical Press, and in numerous Canadian literary and political journals. Born in London, Ontario, Rob was a labour leader and librarian in Toronto for many years. He now resides in Owen Sound and Wiarton.
