The book is laid out nicely, and has excellent recipes, many of them easy. These are the recipes that I will always remember from church picnics. I appreciated that there were recipes that could be used with canning. The variety of appetizers, breads, salads, soups, casseroles, desserts, cookies, pies, cakes, candies, etc., were VERY impressive. I also liked that many of the recipes were easy, and included items that most households would have on hand anyway.-- (10/04/2013)
