It's hard to be a Floppy. Loving Floppies are happy but keep to themselves, Angry Floppies don't know what to do with their anger, and Lonely Floppies are all alone. Only working together will save the Floppy community when a winter storm strikes. The Frozen Floppies was inspired by a Mister Rogers episode and song: "What Do You Do with the Mad that You Feel?" The concept was to write a story about angry creatures who figure out how to use their anger for something good. The Loving Floppies contrast with the Angry Floppies and fool the reader into thinking the two groups are enemies. In truth, the only enemies are the Floppy lines, which isolate the three groups and are the true cause of the Lonely Floppies' despair.This timeless story demonstrates how Floppies, and everyone, can be different yet live in harmony "like a sister or a brother."
