Betty Christiansen is a freelance writer and editor, and the author of Knitting for Peace (STC). She has an MFA in nonfiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College and lives with her husband and three children in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where she is editor of the regional women's magazine Coulee Region Women.
