Sandy Frances Duncan is the author of ten books including The Toothpaste Genie (Scholastic), Cariboo Runaway (Pacific Edge Publishing) and Listen to Me, Grace Kelly (Kids Can Press). She has contributed to a number of anthologies including Dropped Threads: What We Aren't Told (Vintage/Random House), West by Northwest (Polestar), Language in Her Eye (Coach House Press), Celebrating Canadian Women (Fitzhenry & Whiteside) and Vancouver Short Stories (UBC Press). She lives on Gabriola, one of B.C.'s Gulf Islands.
