Beth MacDonald has been a professional craft designer since 1986. Her designs are almost exclusively crafts for kids to make. Beth began working with plastic lacing as a child and has specialized for many years. This is her fourth book on lacing, and she has authored numerous lacing project sheets and activity kits. Her plastic lacing "claim to fame" was the 1990 development of the method for creating long-lasting lacing curls.
