This luxurious volume-the fourth in a series by Louis K. Meisel-is a comprehensive documentation of 21st-century Photorealism, one of the most popular art movements since the late 1960s. Louis K. Meisel (author of, among other titles, Abrams' Photorealism, Photorealism Since 1980 and Photorealism at the Millennium) is a New York art dealer whose gallery helped to establish the Photorealism movement in the late 1960s; he has been its main patron and historian ever since. It was Meisel who coined the term Photorealism in 1969.
