Sylvan Litz was born in Philadelphia and, after a public school education, attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a degree in Journalism. Following two years in the army, he spent the next 40 years writing and managing advertising and public relations for major corporations. Upon his retirement in the late '90s, he started writing stories, essays, and books, primarily for his own enjoyment. COLLEGE-BOY LIEUTENANT is the first one he agreed to publish.
